Designing a new service for entrepreneurs and developers in CIBBVA

CIBBVA or Innovation Center by BBVA had strong relationship with startups, developers evangelist, another institutions. In general is one of the main actors in Madrid about innovation… but they are a bank and they wanted to find a way to be closer with that community, the way to find real value more than reputation.

As a service designer I had to design the investigation and find insights to develop the right strategy.

We were four colleagues at first, but after two weeks we were only three people to face all 13 weeks project. One of them was the project manager, another the visual designer and then, me, in charge to the research and strategy.  The team play an amazing role here, because we were very respectful, with a very opened mindset and flexibility to accept the multiple variants of the project.

We made deep and hallway interviews to community actors and stakeholders, contextual observation, conceptual play with role playing and cards method, a poll and mini sessions, we shared vision with architectural design firm and made specific cards for each service with the concrete points to implement the service.
